Meme Johnson, CPLC
Founder & CEO

I genuinely love helping people but coming from an impoverished background taught me how to be grateful for the small things. I was blessed to be raised in a household with both of my parents, but it was very difficult growing up seeing how hard they worked to provide for eight children and still struggled to take care of us. I can relate to families who have no choice but to be on welfare, no choice to live in communities where you are totally forgotten, not having money to buy school pictures, having to wrap up things that are already in your house to put under the Christmas tree so that you can pretend you received something for Christmas. However, I do not regret things that I have gone through because my passion for giving outweighs every obstacle I have ever had to endure. There are so many people in the world who are broken, lonely, forgotten, oppressed, lost, etc. and I believe we as a people were created to help & serve one another. It’s a great feeling to serve and love others…genuinely! I am forever striving to lead by example, make a difference, and be the change I want to see. We all have a story and it feels great to put a smile on someone’s face because you never know what that person may be going through; having a gift to serve and render assistance to others with compassion & grace is a blessing in itself.

I’ve always had a desire to encourage, inspire, and give hope to others so I am super excited to see how Passion2Give will impact lives through Random Acts of Kindness and Life Coaching & Mentorship.

People are fighting battles we know nothing about…Be Kind. LOVE GOD & LOVE PEOPLE.

I am a bilingual interventionist, crisis counselor, mediator, and educator.  I have worked with high risk youth for 25 years, starting with volunteer work in local high schools when I was in college.  I have extensive experience in program development, management, and evaluation, and I have worked in the U.S. and abroad with local government agencies, public schools, non-profits, grassroots start-ups, and faith-based organizations.  I completed a B.A. in Sociology and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston, and now own a start-up company that provides social services catering to diverse populations of high-risk youth and their families.

In my free time, I love dancing salsa and creating memories around the world with my husband and two young children.

General Counsel

From a young age, I was always taught to give back to the community in which I live, and there is no better way to give back than by volunteering your time to those in need. Volunteering is not only a great way to explore the community around you, it also allows you to interact with and learn about people you would normally not interact with on a day-to-day basis. This one simple interaction can lead to education, which in turn leads to action, and action leads to change.

By joining Passion2Give, my hope is that I can help others while also bringing about change to the community at large.
